NMCEH 4th Annual Conference
Housing for All:
New Directions to End Homelessness

April 9, 2015 - Albuquerque, NM

The 2015 Housing for All Conference of the New Mexico Coalition to End Homelessness is shaping up to be the best ever!  We will meet at the recently renovated Hotel Cascada in Albuquerque, and with this new location we can comfortably accommodate more people. If you are coming from out of town you can stay at the Hotel Cascada on April 8 for the special rate of $83.

This year we are featuring Doctor Dennis Culhane, a Professor at the University of Pennsylvania as our plenary speaker. Dr. Culhane is the leading researcher on solutions to homelessness in the U.S.  He did the original studies that showed providing permanent supportive housing for homeless people with mental illness was no more costly than allowing people to remain homeless where they use costly emergency services.

We have also have two inspiring keynote speakers:

Senator Dede Feldman, a former State Senator, and a champion of health and other services for low income New Mexicans, will give the welcome keynote about her experiences as a State Senator.

Linda Kaufman from Community Solutions in Washington, DC will get us excited about ending veteran and chronic homelessness through the Zero: 2016 Initiative in her after lunch keynote.

In addition we are offering 11 breakout sessions on various topics related to helping homeless people. For a complete list, follow the link for the agenda below.

The conference price includes a full breakfast and an Italian feast for lunch.

The conference offers 6 social work CEUs.
